My name is Marion Gibbs, people call me Maisy. I was born and brought
up in Tongham, Surrey and now I run Maisy's Cakes from there.
My passion has always been baking cakes and cake decorating; It began
when I started making cakes for family and friends.
After completing the BTEC level 3 Diploma in Hospitality course at
Guildford College I then completed The PME Professional Diploma
modules in Sugar Paste, Royal Icing and Sugar Flowers and I was
awarded the Masters Certificate.
This award gave me the inspiration and knowledge to set up my
business, I now specialise in making cakes for all occasions, these are available by order for delivery or collection.
I also make a beautiful range cupcakes and cakes to sell at events, markets and to local shops and cafes.
I take great pride in seeing people's reaction when they open the box with my cake in it. I always make sure my clients receive the special cake they dream of.
I also take great pride in having obtained a 5* Food Hygiene Rating with the Food Standards Agency, giving customers satisfaction that their cakes are made following strict hygiene procedures.
